On The Scene: L’armoire hosts Pop-up in Nanjing

L’armoire opens its first pop-up store in China, held on January 17th 2022 at Nottinghill Arts Centre. The temporary pop-up is located at the new Business District area of Nanjing and serves to introduce L’armoire as a fashion destination enveloped by the latest tech HQs around the area.

The pop-up, which includes an indoor futuristic-themed store is an immersive experience of fashion and art – showcasing established brands such as Natasha Zinko, 1017 ALYX 9SM, KimhekimAnn DemeulemeesterTTSWTRSAALTOSong For The MuteDrkshdw By Rick Owens and Guidi.

Central to the pop-up store’s distinctive design is the brightly lit shelving units and separate sections of eccentric art installations using different kinds of mediums. To celebrate the new space, L’armoire held an opening day for influencers and their guests to experience the preview before opening it to the public.

Before entering the space, invited KOLs and their guests left their mark on a large signing wall at the entrance. They were treated to an array of refreshments before heading up to the main space of the pop-up. Guests also had an opportunity to use their creative knack to personalise their tote bags and badges at the tote bag design workshop.

L’armoire’s Nanjing pop-up store is now open to public. Visit us at 南京市建邺区白龙江东街9号金鱼嘴基金街区B6诺丁山2.
