PARALLEL UNIVERSE, a space in an alternate world where multiple versions of ourselves live and interact with each other, was the theme of our grand opening event on 7th April 2017. The relocation from Raffles Hotel Arcade to a more substantial space within Mandarin Gallery reflects strongly on L’armoire’s niche identity as the forefront of avant-garde fashion in Singapore.
Following the theme of the event, we collaborated with local projection mapping artist Flex on mapping visuals on both horizontal panels across the store. The highlight of the night was an interactive wall where guests could stand in front of a real-time webcam tracking their movements — mapped across the wall for a surreal, dynamic and dream-like effect.
In celebration of the grand opening, L’armoire also hosted an after party at Cherry Discotheque where guests had fun and partied till late.
