GREG LAUREN: SPRING SUMMER 2020

When an artist utilises fabrics as his new medium, we know we’re in for a visual and tactile treat. Greg Lauren’s latest Spring Summer 2020 delivery brings forth a fresh spin on the eponymous label’s classic silhouettes

A closer look at each piece reveals the meticulous upcycled process— created from traditional fabrics and vintage workwear, resulting in a cleverly reconstructed aesthetic.

Apart from the label’s signature flannel and denim styles, this season sees an introduction of the traditional Navajo print, woven seamlessly onto thick, baby-blue wool-cotton hoodie, amongst the series of camo-printed joggers, army green mixed hoodies as well as paisely printed shirts.

Greg Lauren’s artful eyes sees beauty beyond the concept of time itself— A creative and ingenious juxtaposition between the vintage-old and the exquisite-new, using destroyed fabric as his canvas, painting them into pieces of wearable art; a brilliant collection season after season.
